A program for budgetting and well everything related to production and production management.

If you are wanting to get funding for a short then u usually need a budget report so this gives you a helping hand.

Its freeware and to be blunt, it is fucking ace!!

If you still have the freeware .zip on your drive, I'm sure some people around here would appreciate it uploaded to a non-pay website.

it's not as mature but may suffice:

    http://www.celtx.com/

doesn't require an installation of Excel, Filemaker or whatever, it runs on XUL/Firefox.

the webapges look better too ;-)

I will take a look at this...It could be cool.

What I am really looking for some freeware camera software right now. I would like to be able to tie my proofs in with the camera reports all on my laptop so that when I go into TK I can have everything right there for the director and colorist to see...

I may need to commission my friend to write it as a Unix programme.

    Good Luck
PS--If we get enough links I may make a Sticky for them.

When I last checked, Celtx didn't work with the latest version of Firefox (1.0PR)

I had it working before, but I've not come across a less user-friendly piece of software for some time...
